1 Schmeer, Patrick A spectrum of ASASSN-21gk obtained on 2021 May 2.661 UT shows Balmer, Na DI, Fe I absorption lines. These lines and the profile of the continuum suggest that this object is likely to be a normal (F or G-type) star in common with ASASSN-20da. Although the nature is still unclear, these objects may represent a new type of variable stars (2021ATel14593....1I).
2 Schmeer, Patrick Gaia EDR3 parallax 1.407 ± 0.019 mas (distance 690 ± 7 pc)
