1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto VSP Note: The 9.87 Vmag star V0566 Ori is 5.7" to the NW.
2 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Range in 2008AJ....135..637H was 13.3 - <16 V. Observations on 2009 January 1-2 give V= 13.232; B-V= 0.615 (2009ApJS..183..261D). They are consistent with V= 13.21 derived from CMC15 r' photometry on 2005, June 12, using 2MASS J-K of 2.21. UCAC3 observations also show the star around V= 13.6. ASAS-3 V-magnitude for V0566 Ori (only 5.7" away) between 2000 and 2009 is 9.81 instead of 9.87 and that could be caused by some light contribution from NY Ori but most likely by the surrounding nebulosity.
3 GCVS Team VB B (A = V566 Ori; B 5", 135deg). In the region of the Orion nebula T-association.
