1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Supernova imposter in NGC 3432. Multiple outbursts with a quasi-period of 201 +/-12 d. There is another star 22 r-mag. star 0.5" to the SW. Usually around r= 20 at minimum (2023A&A...670A.130M). Periodic eruptions (200.7 +/-2 d.)may arise from violent interaction around times of periastron in an eccentric binary system, similar to the periastron encounters of η Carinae leading up to its Great Eruption (2023MNRAS.521.1941A).
