1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Range is for the combined brightness of the eclipsing binary (Aa1-Aa2) and the tertiary companion Ab 0".27 away (V= 3.83; B0IV; Aa-Ab period 152 y). C companion (V= 6.84) is 52" away and is also a binary (CaCb, B3V+A0V) with P= 29.96 d. B is a faint K dwarf (V= 13.2; sep. 33") unrelated to the system. Eccentric system with apsidal motion (P= 201 years) probably caused by the tertiary component. Min II V= 2.27 at phase 0.45. Elements given are for Min I. Elements for Min II= HJD 2448742.21 + 5.73240 x E. Sidereal period 5.732436 d. HB amplitude 0.02. Several additional frequencies detected, with main periods 4.572 d (rotation of Aa1?), 2.522 d (pulsation?), 2.090 d (rotation of Ab?) and 1.075 d (pulsation?). Pulsations may be BCEP and SPB and come from either the primary (Aa1), or the tertiary (Ab) (2023A&A...672A..31O). Also likely tidally-induced pulsations (2015ApJ...809..134P).
2 GCVS Team VB A (A 0.217", 144deg, 1980; B 14.0m, 33.1", 227deg; C 6.84m, 53.5", 359deg). Orion Belt cluster member. Min II 2.20. Apsidal motion (P = 210 yr). Shape of the light curve varies. The intrinsic brightness variability of the components is possible.
