1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto New identification based on the original chart and in ASAS-3 photometry. ASAS-3 results are a blend of 3 stars: GSC 01643-01360 (V= 13.7); 2MASS J20190821+2042573 (V= 14.2; sep. 9", the star formerly identified as CT Sge) and 2MASS J20190834+2043015 (V= 16.5; sep. 12" from the variable and 4" from the other star). The combined range from V= 12.85 to 13.55 rules out 2MASS J20190821+2042573 as the variable because the corrected range would be 13.6 - 16.4 (the combined mag of the two companions would be 13.6, almost similar to the ASAS combined range for the 3 stars). The chart in MVS N286 (1957) doesn't resolve the three stars and the variable's position is closer to the brighter star and consistent with this new identification.
