1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Minimum magnitude is mostly from the nebula contribution. The central star was as faint as V= 15 mag. in March, 1996.
2 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Late He-shell flash or binary common evelope evolution with a remnant that is in thermal non-equilibrium after the CE ejection. Gradual fading over the last decades. It increased its effective temperature from 38000 K in 1988 to a peak value of 60000 K in 2002 (2014A&A...565A..40R).
