This may be an SRB or a blend (in ASAS-3 data) of two different SR variables. Other periods in the blend are 59.7 and 144 d. The star identified as the variable has J= 7.50 and J-K= 1.45. The derived V mags are: 14.0 (CMC15) and 15.1 (UCAC3). 2MASS J18260363-3010475 lies 19" to the South at 18 26 03.64 -30 10 47.3 and has J= 8.66 and J-K= 1.39. The derived V mags are: 14.9 (UCAC3) and 15.5 (CMC15). This suggests the two are variable. Separate entries will be created once the variability of the Southern component is confirmed. The range given in the table is for the blend of the two. There are also four 16th mag. stars inside the ASAS-3 aperture in this crowded area. |
