1
Schaefer, Brad
The 3.80 hour period (and the final 3.8755 hour period published in
2020JAVSO..48...13S
) cannot be correct because (1) the periodicity produces a DFT peak in the original data that is lower than many other DFT peaks, so the period claim was insignificant, (2) the periodicity does not appear in the simultaneous TESS light curve with amplitude limits of 0.00066 mag. (
2021RNAAS...5..150S
), and (3) novae before the transition phase, including around the peak, cannot display any coherent periodicity because the opaque shell hides the inner binary.
2
Schmeer, Patrick
The only recorded eruption began probably only very few days before the first detection on 2019 Sept. 14 (mag. 19.2 R, ZTF data). After the first eruption peak on 2019 Nov. 29 a second maximum of the same brightness was reached on 2020 Jan. 17 (AAVSO data). Prior to this eruption, no brightenings had been recorded by the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol since 2015 Mar. 24.
3
Otero, Sebastian Alberto
Very slow rise to maximum light.
4
Schmeer, Patrick
Highly reddened galactic classical Fe II nova (
2019ATel13130....1D
and
2019ATel13283....1M
).
5
Schmeer, Patrick
Pan-STARRS1 i mag = 21.6.
