VSP Note: ASASSN-15rc is 4" to the N. Also 19.0 mag. star 3" to the SW and 18.6 mag. star 4" to the SE.

J-K= 0.91 (2MASS), and Pan-STARRS1 and Gaia colours indicate that it is too red for a dwarf nova. The ASAS-SN datapoints (for ASASSN-15rc) have larger than normal error values, and show both probable flares likely coming from ZTF18ablutpo and dwarf nova outbursts. The data of the two stars are blended and strongly contaminated by the 15.6 Vmag. star UCAC4 319-206658. Some of the brightenings might be spurious. However, the ZTF detection on JD 24558337 matches one of the probable flares recorded by ASAS-SN. The Gaia EDR3 parallax is 0.2382 (+/-0.2186, unreliable?) so it looks too luminous for a red dwarf. This same object is included in the list of Large-amplitude variables in Gaia DR2 (
2021A&A...648A..44M
).
