Templeton, Matthew
Note the initial discovery was late February 2009, but the CBET was 2009 May 29. Classified as a nova based upon spectra showing Balmer lines, [OIII]/[NII], and He I by Kinugasa, Honda, Hashimoto, & Takeda (GAO 1.5-m). The name V5582 Sgr was assigned by Samus et al in same CBET.
