1 GCVS Team Nova Ori 1678? Recurrent outburst was possibly observed at 1894 [W.Shackleton, JBAA 4, 215, 1894.]. Earlier the object was considered as nova Ori [--, D.E.Packer, JBAA 4, 96, 1894., F.J.Stratton, Handbuch der Astrophysik 6, 252, 1928., C.Payne-Gaposchkin, S.Gaposchkin, Variable Stars, Harvard Obs. Monographs N5, 1938, PP.234-284.], its existence being considered as doubtful [J.Ashbrook, Sky and Tel 26, N2, 80, 1963.].
