1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Also periodic variability with elements: JD 2449002.109 + 421.29 x E probably caused by formation and depletion of an equatorial disk (2003MNRAS.339..748M). DPV with period ratio 25.31? GCVS team remark: "Sp B2IIIe (Min) - B9Ieq (Max). Max: Lx/Lopt > 1. In the region of the cluster NGC 2034. Alternating "off" states up to 1 year duration (absence of outbursts), and "on" states with periodic outbursts simultaneously in the optical and in the X-ray range. The duration of an outburst is from 0.1 d to 15 d. During outbursts the X-ray pulsar has been observed, P= 0.06921166 s (t0= JD 2444590.4792, P/dt=5.01x10^(-10)). During the "on" state, the amplitude of optical outbursts gradually decreases. No periodicity has been found in optics outside outbursts. An increase of linear optical polarization during outburst has been noted. The B component probably undergoes shell events when outbursts occur during the passages of the neutron star through the periastron of the high-eccentricity orbit (e=0.7, Porb =16.7)."
