GCVS Team |
A unique IR object IRC +10420. B - V = +2.7, U - B = +1.9. OH, H2O, SiO maser. According to [R.M.Humphreys, D.W.Strecker, T.L. Murdock, F.J.Low, ApJ 179, L 49, 1973.], the energy distribution in the IR spectrum (1 - 22mkm) resembles that of eta Car. Emissions of neutral metals are observed in the spectrum. Increased in brightness during 1925 - 1970; Max ~1970. |
