Furgoni, Riccardo
- Vmag is the mean value derived from UCAC3 f-mag (V 12.813) and CMC14 r'mag (V 12.832). - For this star the value of Nomad1 B-V is 0.66 and 2MASS J-K is 0.32. These are too high for a Delta Scuti star. However the star is a probable member of the cluster NGC 1582 which has a reddening of 0.35 (Baume, G., Villanova, S. & Carraro, G.,2003. A study of the northern open clusters NGC 1582 and NGC 1663). Even just looking at the catalogs the reddening is evident: the nearby star UCAC3 268-060318 has a NOMAD1 B-V 0.404 but a spectral type A, normally with a B-V around 0. With a reddening E(B-V) 0.35 this star would become B-V 0.31 instead of B-V 0.66, a value compatible with a F0 spectral type usual for a Delta Scuti star.
