2023AJ....165...81Z provided updated parameters. The distant companion has period of 142.01 d. The nodal precession period is 63.5 years. Eclipses were observed again in 2019, and should remain visible until the year ~2049. Min I amplitude in 2022: 0.1 mag. Predicted Min I amplitude: 0.28 mag in 2025, 0.68 mag in 2035. The system is confirmed to be unrelated to the visually nearby M7. |

Remark from 1999AJ....117..541L.
Triple star. The orbital planes of the B9.5V eclipsing binary and the more distant companion (per= 99.3 d.) are not coplanar so the orbital plane of the eclipsing binary shows nodal regression with a period of 68 years. For about one-third of this time, the close binary is eclipsing, the rest of the time the inclination is too small for eclipses to occur. The earliest observations of the system in the year 1899 show eclipses; the eclipses stopped about 1918, started again about 1963, and stopped again in about 1986. Eclipses should start occurring once again in the year 2030+/-5. |
