1 Schmeer, Patrick The historical light curve reveals no symbiotic-like activity from ~1900 to 1967. In 1968, V426 Sge experienced a symbiotic nova eruption that ceased around 1990. From approximately 1972, a wave-like orbitally related variation with a period of 493.4 ± 0.7 days developed in the light curve. This was interrupted by a Z And-type outburst from the beginning of August 2018 to the middle of February 2019 (2020A&A...636A..77S). No spectroscopy is available for the very slow nova phase; "probable symbiotic nova" according to U. Munari (personal communication). Gaia EDR3 parallax 0.189 ± 0.028 mas (distance ~5 kpc).
2 Schmeer, Patrick Gaia DR2 parallax 0.2753 ± 0.0578 mas (distance 3 kpc).
3 Schmeer, Patrick First noted by Kohoutek and Wehmeyer in their catalog of emission line stars (1999A&AS..134..255K) as a source with a strong continuum (thus not a PN) and overexposed Halpha emission (from ATel #11937).
4 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Sudden brightening on HJD 2458336 (August 5, 2018). It rose from V= 12.5 to 10.7 in only 4 days.
