1 1997HIP...C......0E Multiple system studied by McSwain (2003). Combined magnitudes given. Ab1 and Ab2 make up the eclipsing binary. Aa (O9.5V) is at Min II= 7.70 V. 0".3. Aa+Ab= 7.79 V. B is at 6".8 (V= 10.2, F5V). C (V= 10.6; B4V) is 53" away. B is optical. Strangely, McSwain (2003) comments that no eclipses are expected "or observed by Hipparcos", when they are apparent in Hipparcos data using the same period he determined spectroscopically. No traces of the BCEP variability (periods 0.37822 or 0.28292 d.) reported by Hill (1967). Period of 12.053 d. (type Ia?) in Lefèvre et al. (2009) is wrong.
2 GCVS Team VB A (B 10.0m, F 4 V, 6", 195deg; optical). P = 0.28292d?
