Cir X-1. According to [A.N.Argue, C.Sullivan, Obs 102, N1046, 4-6, 1982.], the object does not coincide with the star (B = 22.5m) labelled as L in the chart in [J.A.J.Whelan, S.K.Mayo, D.T.Wickramasinghe, P.A.Murdin, B.A.Peterson, T.G.Hawarden, A.J.Longmore, R.F.Haynes, W.M.GOSS, L.W.Simons, J.L.Caswell, A.G.Little, W.B.McAdam, MN 181, 259, 1977.] but is situated in ~1" to the south of it and has M > 23.5m on IIIa-J plates. Gradual increase of X-ray intensity is periodically stopped by an abrupt intensity fall. The moments of such transitions T are represented by the elements T = 2443292.118 + 16.595d*E [L.J.Kaluzienski, S.S.Holt, IAU Circ N3099, 1977.]. The X-ray intensity falls are accompanied by IR and radio bursts. Vr (e alpha) = +250 km/s. In 25' from the supernova remnant G 321.9-0.3. |
