1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto J-K= 1.46. Two miras 11" apart, NY and NX Sgr. NX Sgr is the brighter one as it has been shown in the original reports (12.5 - 16.0 p in 1928BHarO.858...13W) and the currently available photometry (V= 11.3 - <16.1). In 1953AnLei..20..321Vm van Houten only studies the brighter variable (12.7 - <14.1 p, P= 159 d. but erroneously identifies it as NY Sgr (which is the fainter one, with 13.7 - 16.5 p in 1928BHarO.858...13W and V= 12.4 - <16.1 in the currently available photometry) instead of NX Sgr. The ASAS-3 light curve includes light from both stars and is also contaminated by 2MASS J18503492-2336226 (V= 15.2; sep. 16") and 2MASS J8503307-2336208 (V= 13.8; sep. 22"). Range has been corrected.
