Templeton, Matthew
Possible nova discovered by Wm. Liller, posted to CBAT Unconfirmed Objects page on 2008 Sept 29. Serendipitous photometry by V. Tabur indicated the object appeared between 2008 Sept 19.4 (not visible) and 2008 Sept 21.4 (m(CV)=9.99), and reached maximum on or about 2008 Sept 30.4 (m(CV)=8.07). Not yet classified as a nova or definitively identified with a progenitor, although coordinates by P. Nelson lie within 0.2 arcseconds of NOMAD 0223-0514964 (B=19.91, R=17.5) which suggests it is either a nova or a WZ Sge star.
