Schmeer, Patrick
Combined GALEX images reveal an arc of UV-emitting material with a radius r ~ 15', centred roughly on, and located southwest of, Z Cam (
2007Natur.446..159S
). This shell could be the result of a possible nova eruption observed by Chinese imperial astrologers in October–November 77 BCE (
2007Natur.448..251J
,
2012ApJ...756..107S
). Maximum magnitude is for the dwarf nova outbursts.

Schmeer, Patrick
Discovered photographically in 1904 at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, in the course of the work for the Astrographic Catalogue under Henry Park Hollis's direction (1904MNRAS..64..837). Gaia DR2 parallax 4.4369 ± 0.0403 mas (distance 223.9 ± 2.1 pc).

R.P.Kraft, W.Krzeminski, G.S.Mumford, ApJ 158, 589, 1969.
]. Outside outbursts the light curve is modulated with spectroscopic elements and has a shoulder at the phase 0.88P and a broad, shallow dip at the phase 0.15P. Outside maxima flickering up to 0.5m with P ~ 16s - 18s is observed. During maxima brightness fluctuations are small [
