1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto J-K= 1.46. The star GSC 08672-02248 identified as HV Cen By Webbink et al. (2002IBVS.5298....1W) is constant in ASAS data (V= 12.8) and has a J-K= 0.76, not consistent with a red variable. They stated that the identification by W.P. Bidelman and D.J. MacConnell (1998IBVS.4612....1B) with IRAS 13506-5627 was incorrect but that ID is right. ASAS-3 magnitudes contaminated by UCAC4 167-106545 (V= 15.0; sep. 2.5") and UCAC4 167-106543 (V= 14.5; sep. 21"). Range has been corrected.
