1 Jansen, R Updated position from orig. ref. (red star no. 3 in subregion 5, chart page 166). Checked against POSS-2 IR image, data from 2MASS (J-K color and magnitude), IRAS and MSX6C. Most obvious candidate is red star 2MASS J16034988-5315342 J-K = 2.234. Confirmation of position from the NSV version of July 2009 (16 03 49.9 -53 15 34).
