1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto VSP Note: 11.9 mag. star 2.4" to the NNW and 15.4 mag. star 7" to the WNW.
2 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Nova-like outburst in 1965. Visual binary. 11.9 Vmag. K0III companion (AS 295 A) 2.4" to the NNW. Also 15.4 Vmag. star 7" to the WNW and 17.1 mag. star 8" to the SSW. Photographic observations are for the blend of the variable and the 12 mag. companion. Corrected amplitude is ~6 mag. t3 is 120 d. so it is slower than recurrent novae in symbiotic systems and faster than very slow symbiotic novae (NC). However, the measures are for the blend so the fading might have been faster. Minimum in V of the variable component is V~13.9 (Henden and Munari, 2008).
3 2013arXiv1312.6063G Pulsation period 118d.
