Nova Sge 1913, 1946, 1978. VB A (B 15.76m B, 7", 280deg). Really it is not a nova. Three outbursts were registered up to day: JD2420094, 32001, 43844 [
I.Patterson, J.T.McGrow, L.Coleman, J.L.Africano, ApJ 248, 1067, 1981.
,
J.A.Mattei, JRAS Can 74, N1, 53, 1980.
]. There are superhumps on the light curve during the outburst with 0.057250d >= P >= 0.05714d (A=0.3m V) [
I.Patterson, J.T.McGrow, L.Coleman, J.L.Africano, ApJ 248, 1067, 1981.
,
D.Targan, IBVS N1539, 1979.
]. There are light variations between the outbursts (A = 0.14m - 0.3m). During some of light weakenings Algol-like eclipses are observed (A = 0.2m) with the elements: Min I = 2437547.72845 + 0.0566878455d*E [
E.L.Robinson, R.E.Nather, J.Patterson, ApJ 219, 168, 1978.
]; D = 0.04P. d = 0.02P. There are also rapid light oscillations (A <= 0.01m). The periods of these oscillations before the 1978 outburst were 28.98s and 27.87s [
E.L.Robinson, R.E.Nather, J.Patterson, ApJ 219, 168, 1978.
], but after this outburst - 28.95963s [
J.Middleditch, J.Nelson, BAAS 11, N4, 664, 1979.
]. According to [
J.Patterson, ApJ 241, 235, 1980.
], in 1976 - 78 these oscillations were represented by the elements: Max = 2443311.790250 + 0.00032254826d*E + 9.8d*10**(-16)*E**2.
