1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto VSP Note: 20.3 mag. star 2.7" to the NE.
2 Otero, Sebastian Alberto The 2015 outburst was an eruptive event with a near-instantaneous rise time and short decay, whereas FUor (and EXor) outbursts are driven by changes in viscous disks on timescales of months to years (2016ApJ...831..133H). The Gaia detection of a remarkably similar outburst in 2022 makes the ILOT nature (planet-destruction) proposed in 2017MNRAS.468.4938K even less likely (it would be the third recorded outburst).
3 Otero, Sebastian Alberto J-K= 1.06. Bright outburst from a likely young star in the Galactic plane, an HII region nearby, huge Galactic reddening region.
