1 Schmeer, Patrick A contact binary star merger and subsequent luminous red nova (LRN) event is no longer predicted for the year 2022.2 ± 0.7 (2018ApJ...864L..32S). The available timing data strongly support a model consisting of the known W UMa binary and a distant low-mass companion with an orbital period of ~13.5 years (2019A&A...631A.126K). Gaia DR2 parallax 1.680 ± 0.028 (distance 585 ± 10 pc, 2018AJ....156...58B).
2 Schmeer, Patrick Gaia DR2 parallax 1.6804 ± 0.0278 (distance 595 ± 10 pc).
3 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Period is decreasing. Luminous Red Nova (V838MON) candidate.
