1 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Confusion in the literature about its identification. The GCPD adopted the number in Fernandez and Salgado (1980) without using the correct format *Cl NGC 3532 NNN" for the ID. VizieR thus imported the GCPD record as if the ID was that from Koelbloed (1959). In Koelbloed numbering system, this star is NGC 3532 157 and *Cl NGC 3532 Fern 207 in Fernández and Salgado system. This means *Cl NGC 3532 Fern 157 = NGC 3532 56, a star with V= 7.97 and B-V 1.59, is found in VizieR instead of NGC 3532 157, the DPV/ELL. Total range given. Ellipsoidal variations have an amplitude of 0.09 mag. with Min II of 0.04 mag.
2 Otero, Sebastian Alberto Long period 268 d. Period ratio 35.92. The long period has a double wave or it may well be a single wave period of 134 d. with type DPV/R and reflection variability with P= 3.7308 d.
