1
Otero, Sebastian Alberto
Eruption peak epoch 2459346 (from AAVSO data).
2
Schmeer, Patrick
A spectrum obtained on 2021 May 8.094 UT is now finally looking as a textbook example for a Fe II nova around maximum brightness (
2021ATel14614....1M
).
3
Schaefer, Brad
TESS pre-eruption light curve (from Sectors 17, 18, and 24) shows the precursor to have a sinewave with flickering (as normal for a cataclysmic variable with irradiation effects). Epoch in the table is for the minimum of the pre-eruption orbital cycle.
4
Schmeer, Patrick
Galactic classical He/N nova (
2021ATel14478....1T
)
5
Otero, Sebastian Alberto
VSP Note: 16.8 mag. star 4" to the E, 17.4 mag. star 6" to the E and 16.7 mag. star 10" to the W.
6
Schmeer, Patrick
Prior to the eruption that was first detected on 2021 March 18 by Yuji Nakamura, no brightenings had been recorded by the ASAS-SN Sky Patrol since 2014 December 17. Gaia EDR3 parallax 0.578 ± 0.025 mas (distance 1.69 ± 0.07 kpc).
